First Day of School

Okay, so I know I’m only 2+ months late on this, but better late than never! These are some pictures from Ryan’s first day of kindergarten. He loves school and we love his teachers. He does so many neat things and is excited and interested in learning. He loves to recreate the things he has made/done in class at home every evening. He talks about his classmates and teachers. He is learning lots- his reading is taking off and he continues to excel in numbers/patterns.

Enjoying some watermelon. Notice the flowers on the table... I accidentally let some of the broccoli plants in my garden flower and Ryan was mortified that I was just going to throw them out. He had to go in and get a cup of water for them then place them on his table.

Baseball Game

Brian has one of those vintage handheld baseball games that he had when he was a kid. Ryan recently discovered it and has really loved playing on it.

First sleepover

In January Ryan had his first sleepover at our neighbors house. We set up a tent upstairs and the kids got to sleep there all night (well, the two boys lasted all night...their daughter slept in her own bed). He had a blast and still talks about what fun it was.
