Misc.

In the course of unpacking, I was going through all the hats, gloves, mittens, etc. Ryan insisted that he was SO COLD before we left for swimming lessons (yes, the temperature has been in the mid-90's in ABQ!). So what's a mom to do but let her little guy wear swim trucks, mittens and a knit hat- haha!

Thanks for the SuperSoaker, Granny (sarcasm from Mommy's voice...pure delight from Ryan's) ;)

As most of you know, Ryan has become quite the neighborhood watchdog. At our old house, there were only two windows you could really see the front and one had a bush taller than Ryan. Now his bedroom faces the street and he can sit on his bed (and sit on the couch in the loft) and look at the window. We get frequent reports on which neighbors are home, who has gone to the grocery store, who is out of town, etc. He will sit for extended periods of time just checking out the neighborhood!

More Swimming

The last Friday of each session the kids get to go down the water slide. Ryan had a great time!

Father's Day

For Father's Day this year I bought a 'D' and an 'A' and took Ryan to the park for pictures. I bought a frame with three openings, printed off two D pictures and an A picture and gave it to Brian. He loved the pictures and I thought they were cute too. Ryan couldn't quite wrap his head around that we didn't need to buy two D's...he kept saying that we were just going to spell ad! ;)
